NSCHT NHS Mental Health Access Team

NHS Mental Health Access Team for Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire Tel: 0300 123 0907 open 24 hours every day. (Also phone this number for 'Healthy Minds' service.) 

NHS Mental Health Teams can provide mental health assessment, support and counselling or therapy through a variety of services. People are often referred into these services (e.g.by a GP) but you can also access them direct, particularly if you are seeking urgent support.

Self-injury Support
The Self-injury support website has lots of information about self-harm and also provides information on support groups and helplines throughout the Country.

The Echo Group is based in Stoke on Trent and provides support and information for people (male and female) who have experienced self harm aged 18 and above. They provide a group and drop-in session. For further information contact the Echo Group on 07500 444116.
